THE FIT WORKSHEET

A better fit starts with better notes.

Measure first. Compare the right chart. Then check how the shirt moves.

Record the dimensions that matter.

Use the same units for your measurements. This worksheet organizes notes and flags missing information; it does not assign a clothing size or add a guessed amount of ease.

Compare like with like.

Chest or bust: follow the chart's measuring instructions. Do not compare a flat half-chest measurement directly with a full body circumference.

Sleeve: some charts measure from the center back, others from a shoulder point. Record the method as well as the number.

Length: use a shirt you like as a reference, then check the hem while seated and reaching forward.

Movement: shoulder reach, hood pull and cuff ride-up deserve a check after the garment arrives. Keep the seller's return conditions in mind before wearing or washing it.
